Research Statement:

I'm fascinated by the use of intrinsic markers for better understanding the movement ecology of migratory mammals, particularly bats. For my dissertation, I'll be investigating the biology and behavior of the northern long-eared bat at the western extent of its range while simultaneously developing recommendations for effective detection and monitoring of this species in eastern Montana.
