Fall Season (Oct/Nov 2026-2027): Shotgun/Trap
REGISTRATION FOR Sept. - Oct./Nov. 2026-2027
SHOTGUN/TRAP ONLY
In an effort to address several challenges related to the past Flathead County 4-H Shooting Sports registration process, the MSU Extension Office in Flathead County is implementing a new registration process which will utilize ZSuite and Sign-Up Genius. The 2026-2027 Shooting Sports season will be opened in separate tiers/phases. This is the same process used last year (2025-2026) and it was successful. Registering in the Zsuite event, does not guarantee a spot. Once you have been able to secure a time spot in the sign-up genius, you have a spot in the 4-H shotgun program. Please see the instructions below when you will receive the Sign-Up Genius link.
Registration for 4-H Shotgun / Trap is OPEN on ZSuite July 1, 2026 at 9:00 am. Registration will remain open until July 26.
▪ On / about July 29, 2026, children / grandchildren of current registered 4-H Shooting Sports instructors will be provided access to a Sign-Up Genius site to request specific shotgun / trap shooting times
▪ On / about August 5, 2026, returning 4-H shotgun project youth will be provided access to a Sign-Up Genius site to request specific shotgun / trap shooting times
▪ On / about August 10, 2026, new 4-H shotgun project youth will be provided access to a Sign-Up Genius site to request specific shotgun / trap shooting times
▪ Participants must be 10 years old as of October 1,2025 in order to register for the Shotgun/Trap Shooting Sports project.
▪ Shooting Sports registration fees are $30 per discipline per youth. Plus an additional $25 for 4-H Dues for the 26-27 4-H Year Dues. For a total of $55.
The first 4-H Shotgun / trap meeting / Orientation will likely be toward the end of August 2026 but has not yet been confirmed.
IMPORANT : Registration does not guarantee a spot. Spot availability is determined by the number of Certified Volunteer Shooting Sports Instructors that sign up to help. The Extension Office will reach out to you for payment once your spot is confirmed. Please DO NOT PAY NOW. We will reach out to everyone who registers, regardless of spot availability.
