● Water bottle ● Sunscreen ● Riding boots ● Helmet ● Layered clothing for all weather ● Extra socks ● Rain gear ● Bedding (if sleeping in the Expo) ● Cot or air mattress recommended ● Blankets/sleeping bag ● Pillow ● Toiletries ● Towel ● Medications (as needed and turned in to camp nurse) ● Horsemanship/Project workbooks & record books - especially if assessing ● Notebook & writing utensils |
● 2 flat-sided water buckets (5 gallon) ● Twine, hooks, snaps to hang water buckets from ● Wheelbarrow (labeled with name) ● Manure fork (labeled with name) ● Feed ● Hay should not be left outside of stalls for other horses to access ● Grain (as needed) should be inaccessible to other horses ● Medications (as needed) ● Tack ● Grooming tools ● Saddle pad - extra one also ● Saddle ● Bridle ● Halter & lead ● Boots (optional) |

Flathead County 4-H Horse Camp Overview Schedule
There will not be a "Spring Round Up" overnight Horse camp in 2026. Instead, it will be replaced with the "Carousel of Skills Horse Day Camp" that will take place on May 2, 2026. It will be a one-day camp with various clinics provided. More details to come closer to that date.
