Olivia Harris called the meeting to order at 3:00 p.m.  Augustus  led the pledges.

The minutes from the previous meeting stand approved.

  • Looking for a youth member to be treasurer. 

Committee Reports

  • Outdoor

    • Meeting will be on March 9th at 5:30 p.m. in the Extension Office.

    • Fair theme is “4-H Grows Here”.  There was discussion and Kara said this wasn’t set yet.  The kids chose “4-H It’s a Jungle Out Here” instead. 

    • Sale time moved from 11 am to 9 am.

Old Business

  • Fair Activities

    • Wednesday was approved for Root Beer floats at 6:00 p.m. in the BHB.  

    • Thursday was changed to a movie at 6:00 p.m. in the multi-purpose building. 

    • Friday was changed to a scavenger hunt. We will have a meeting at 8:00 a.m. on Friday. Prizes for the scavenger hunt will be handed out at 7:00 p.m. 

    • Saturday will be games while standing in a line then later will be moved to the BHB.
    • We are looking for some volunteers to help with these activities.
  • Marketing Plan
    • Each Marketer needs at least 3 buyers to give their signature. For each additional signature they will receive a ticket for a raffle.  We proposed a sheet to receive signatures from the buyers.
