The NMDP campus chapter is an extension of the global nonprofit organization, the National Marrow Donor Program. NMDP is dedicated to establishing, maintaining, and improving a system that provides transplants of bone marrow and other hematopoietic cells from volunteer, unrelated donors for patients with blood cancers and diseases. Through our club, we educate our fellow students on the donation process and recruit members to join the registry as potential donors. We help save lives through cell therapy and promote access to life-saving treatments for patients in need. Our club focuses on hosting tabling events, class presentations, and collaboration with other campus and local organizations. We don't have any membership fees/dues, and our monthly time commitment is whatever you can contribute.
