Ability & Disability

October 7th, from 5:30-6:30pm - kick off our Convos and Common Ground series. In our first session, “Ability & Disability,” we will have facilitated dialogue about seen and unseen disabilities and their impacts on daily life, as well as successes and places for improvement regarding accessibility on the MSU campus, and how these experiences intersect with other identities. 

Religion & Spirituality

October 21st, from 5:30-6:30pm, facilitated conversations on the varieties of religious and spiritual identities and practices, diving into various backgrounds, misinterpretations, judgements to engage in open and diverse understandings of religions and spiritualities and how these experiences intersect with other identities. 

Class and Socioeconomic Status

November 4th from 5:30-6:30pm, facilitated conversation on how class and socioeconomic status impact one’s higher education, upbringing and daily life, and how these experiences intersect with other identities.

Culture & Tradition 

November 18thfrom 5:30-6:30pm, facilitated conversation on participants’ cultures and traditions, as we move into a holiday season. Come engage with peers to share and hear stories, memories, and traditions to explore and celebrate shared and unique cultural identities and backgrounds and how these experiences intersect with other identities.
