2026 Nominees for Excellence in Service

In the 37th year of honoring outstanding individual performance and contributions by classified and professional staff, and in alignment with the MSU Service Excellence standards, we invite you to celebrate with us at the awards celebration on April 16, 2026 at 9 am. Award recipients will be selected for demonstrating exemplary service excellence in their jobs and will receive a cash award.

  • Individual "Employee of the Year" awards: Staff members will be selected for their excellence in demonstrating each of the 4 Service Excellence standards in performing their jobs.
  • Bobcat Lifetime Achievement Award: An individual will be selected who provides exemplary service on a daily basis in all four standards of excellence and has devoted a significant portion of their career to MSU.

 Eligibility: 

The awards program is open to all permanent professional and classified employees of Montana State University in Bozeman. This includes MSU Extension Offices, Agricultural Research Centers, and MSU Extended Nursing campuses.
