The focus of the FCS program is to improve individual and family behaviors, and community well-being. Agents offer programs aimed at providing education and resources relating to food and nutrition, health and wellness, and a wide range of family issues such as changing family structures, inter-generational relations; human response to stress and crisis; family laws, finance and economics; and decision-making.

Meet Your New Family & Consumer Sciences Extension Agent!

Erin Gregory grew up in Yellowstone County and earned her undergraduate degree at MSU Billings. With a background in communication and education, she is passionate about helping individuals and families build practical skills for daily life. Erin also has a strong foundation in community service, having served as an AmeriCorps member at Teton Science Schools and worked with several local non-profits.

As the new Family & Consumer Science Extension Agent, Erin looks forward to developing programs that support the needs of the community. Weekly preservaion classes. Register for one or all four! Registration is required due to limited space. All classes will be held at the American Lutheran Church at 5 Lewis Ave in Billings, MT.

QPR Gatekeeper Training

QPR is an evidence-based suicide prevention training that teaches participants to identify warning signs and provide help to someone in crisis.

ServSafe Food Manager **Register here for the September training.

ServSafe Food Manager is an ANSI-CFP accredited program administered by the National Restaurant Association. This full-day program and proctored exam is delivered by Certified ServSafe Instructor and Yellowstone County MSU Extension FCS Agent, Erin Gregory.

StrongPeople

Strong People is an evidence-based strength training program designed for older adults who want to stay strong, fit, and healthy. Each class progresses through a series of 8-10 exercises focused on resistance training, balance, and flexibility.
