MSU will host listening sessions March 10 for faculty and March 11 for staff to help shape the university’s new strategic plan. Your input will guide the goals and priorities that define the university’s future.

The university will host additional listening sessions for faculty, staff, students and community members to share their thoughts on Wednesday, Feb. 18, and in March.

Announcements

Strategic plan listening session times for March 10-11 have been updated.

Nominations for Celebrating Excellence in Service and MSU Employees of the Year awards are due Feb. 27.

The PREP-MT postbaccalaureate research education program is accepting applications for 2026 until Feb. 28.

The Center for Faculty Excellence is accepting applications for spring 2026 internal grants.

The Outreach and Engagement Council is accepting proposals for its seed grant program through April 5.

Registration is open for the workshop "Intro to Dissemination and Implementation Science" on Tuesday, May 12.

MSU's 2026 First Year Student Convocation book is "Being Wrong: Adventures in the Margin of Error" by Kathryn Schulz. All first-year students are provided a copy of the annual convocation book as a gift from the president's office and are asked to read it before the event on Aug. 25.
