Develop as an Ally and learn about Resources

  • The Safe Zone program offers trainings each semester to  educate our community and promote an inclusive campus environment. Safe Zone is a program on campuses across the nation building awareness and support of LGBTQ+ (lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, queer) individuals.
  • All workshops are free and open to the campus community. All students, staff members, and faculty members are welcome and strongly encouraged to attend. To identify as a Safe Zone Ally, complete Module 1: Awareness and Education as well as Module 2: Ally Development.
  • Individuals who wish to continue to the next level, can participate in the train the trainer training. Offered only once a year. Module 1 must be completed before participating in this special training. We also recommend completion of module 2; however, it is not necessary.
